Adams’ Park Victorian Garden Fall Photos October 5, 2015
Today I stopped by the Victorian Garden in Adams’ Park in downtown Wheaton to check on the garden I designed for the City of Wheaton in cooperation with the Friends of Adams’ Park a few years ago. It was fun to see the way the plants are maturing and how beautiful the Let’s Dance Moonlight Hydrangea and the Knockout Roses are still looking in early October!
Below are pictures of the Victorian Garden when it was installed in the summer of 2013 .
Key Note Speaker at Fall Conference in Iowa
On Saturday, October 3rd I had the pleasure and honor of providing one of two keynote presentations at the ‘Growing Along the River-Focus on Fall’ conference presented by Scott County Iowa Master Gardeners in cooperation with Scott County Community College, in Bettendorf, Iowa. My Keynote presentation was entitled: ‘A Landscape Love Affair: My 25 Year Relationship With My Garden’. My second presentation was ‘The Art of Landscape Design’. The conference was well-attended. I enjoyed sitting in on several other educational sessions when I was not presenting my talks. I had a lovely weekend for a fall drive to the Quad Cities!
